Президент США Дональд Трамп завершил турне по странам Персидского залива сделкой с ОАЭ на $200 млрд. В Абу-Даби построят крупнейший за пределами США кампус искусственного интеллекта.

В ходе турне по странам Персидского залива президент США Дональд Трамп заключил с ОАЭ сделки на $200 млрд, сообщил Белый дом. Это инвестиции в авиацию, энергетику и другие промышленные отрасли, а также в разработки в области искусственного интеллекта (ИИ).

В Саудовской Аравии американский президент заключил сделки на $600 млрд, в Катаре — на $243 млрд. Таким образом он завершил поездку по Ближнему Востоку с инвестиционными обещаниями на общую сумму в $1,4 трлн.

Взаимные инвестиции США и стран Персидского залива выгодны для обеих сторон: Вашингтон стремится возродить производство внутри страны, а ближневосточные страны — ускорить развитие ИИ, чтобы диверсифицировать экономику и избавиться от зависимости от нефти.

Центральным пунктом сделки с ОАЭ станет кампус ИИ площадью 26 квадратных километров в Абу-Даби, рассчитанный на мощность в 5 гигаватт для центров обработки данных ИИ. Объект будет построен компанией G42, базирующейся в ОАЭ, в партнерстве с несколькими американскими компаниями.

Azerbaijan has reviewed the development of partnership with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in industrial and other fields, exchange of experience, and promotion of relations between businessmen of the two countries, “Caspian Energy Media” reports with reference to a post on X shared by the Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov.

"Together with Mr. Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR, we held a video conference with H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates. We highlighted the successful cooperation between ADNOC and SOCAR in the joint development of the Absheron gas and condensate field, as well as the green energy initiatives undertaken in partnership with Masdar. Our discussions also focused on expanding bilateral collaboration and knowledge exchange across industrial and other strategic sectors, as well as fostering stronger B2B engagement between the business communities of both countries," Jabbarov wrote.

Азербайджан обсудил с Объединенными Арабскими Эмиратами (ОАЭ) развитие партнерства в промышленной и других сферах, обмен опытом и продвижение связей между бизнесменами двух стран.

"Вместе с президентом SOCAR Ровшаном Наджафом мы провели встречу в формате видеоконференции с министром промышленности и передовых технологий ОАЭ Султаном Ахмедом Аль Джабером. Мы отметили успешное сотрудничество ADNOC и SOCAR в совместной разработке газоконденсатного месторождения "Абшерон", а также инициативы в области зеленой энергетики, предпринятые в партнерстве с компанией Masdar", - говорится в публикации.

On June 5, Azerbaijan was once again elected to the Executive Council of the UN Tourism for the period of 2025-2029 within the framework of the 71st session of the Regional Commission for Europe (CEU) held in Baku.

The ministry noted that the elections were held in a highly competitive environment. Along with Azerbaijan, 9 candidate countries competed for 5 seats allocated for the European region in the UN Tourism Executive Council. Azerbaijan was elected to the Council in the first round of voting, gathering the majority of votes from participating member countries.

В рамках состоявшейся в Баку 71-й сессии Региональной комиссии по Европе (CEU) Всемирной туристской организации ООН (ЮНВТО) Азербайджан вновь был избран в члены Исполнительного совета организации на 2025-2029 годы.

Отмечается, что выборы проходили в условиях высокой конкуренции. За 5 мест, выделенных для Европейского региона в Исполнительном совете ЮНВТО, вместе с Азербайджаном боролись 9 стран-кандидатов. Азербайджан был избран в Совет, набрав большинство голосов стран-участниц в первом туре голосования.

On 12 June, the delegation led by the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, met with the management staff of the “Huawei” company in the framework of the 2nd 'One Belt, One Road' conference on science and technology exchange, held in Chengdu, the People's Republic of China.

During the meeting, the prospects of cooperating with the aforementioned company in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) were discussed.

The current state of, and prospects for the further development of, bilateral cooperation in the field of science between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.

Within the framework of the meeting, a Letter of Intent on joint implementation of the Cooperation Program on Artificial Intelligence between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and a Letter of Intent on joint implementation of the Special Program on Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China were signed to promote mutual co-operation in science, technology and artificial intelligence.

On 12 June, a delegation led by the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullaev, met with Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim bin Said Al Mahrouqiyah, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the Sultanate of Oman, within the framework of the 2nd 'One Belt, One Road' conference on science and technology exchanges, which was held in Chengdu in the People's Republic of China.

Within the framework of the meeting, the current cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman in the fields of science and higher education, as well as the prospects for further development of cooperation, were discussed.

В рамках 2-й конференции по обмену в области науки и технологий «Один пояс, один путь», проходящей в Чэнду, Китай, состоялась двусторонняя встреча министра науки и образования Эмина Амруллаева с министром науки и технологий Китайской Народной Республики Инь Хэцзюнем.

В ходе встречи обсуждалось текущее состояние двустороннего сотрудничества в области науки между двумя странами и перспективы его дальнейшего развития.

В рамках встречи были подписаны «Письмо о намерениях по совместной реализации Программы сотрудничества в области искусственного интеллекта между Министерством науки и образования Азербайджанской Республики и Министерством науки и технологий Китайской Народной Республики» и «Письмо о намерениях по совместной реализации Специальной программы по сотрудничеству в области науки, технологий и инноваций между Министерством науки и образования Азербайджанской Республики и Министерством науки и технологий Китайской Народной Республики» с целью содействия взаимному сотрудничеству в области науки, технологий и искусственного интеллекта.
