Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry and Carlsberg Azerbaijan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering the period 2025-2030, “Caspian Energy Media” reports.
The signing ceremony took place during a meeting between Azerbaijani Economy Minister, Mikayil Jabbarov, and representatives of the Carlsberg Group.
Its implementation will contribute to the localization of raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring fully local production, and environmental protection.
During the meeting, officials highlighted state support measures for stimulating the production of competitive non-oil products in Azerbaijan, creating new import-substituting production areas, and expanding export opportunities. The discussion also covered Carlsberg Group’s successful operations in Azerbaijan, investment support, increased local production, achieved results, and potential future steps.
