Oil and Gas Construction Trust’s consistent and successful performance ever since 1949 has not only promoted the development of the oil, gas and power industry in Azerbaijan, but also brought Azerbaijan’s experience recognition abroad. Trust provides construction and overhaul services in different directions domestically and abroad. Its services cover all types of activities concerning construction of oil and gas field facilities, installation and maintenance of technological oil and gas equipment. Trust also provides such services as construction of subsea, onshore and offshore pipelines for water, oil and gas transportation, as well as asphalt and concrete paving. As contractor Trust performs construction of offshore and onshore structures, jackets, piers and trestle platforms, gas compressor stations, oil reservoirs, as well as industrial, public and civil construction including roads and bridges.

The main goal is successful performance in compliance with international standards, environmental regulations and quality requirements to achieve clients’ satisfaction. Therefore, since 2002 Trust has been awarded with the TSE-ISO-EN 9000, TSE-ISO-EN 14000, TSE ISG-OHSAS TS 18001 international certificates, and with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 certificate in 2009.
Strategical projects and international cooperation
Having grown into a reliable player in the construction market over a long period of time, Trust has its name branded in the construction history of Azerbaijan as an author of numerous strategically significant projects. As a product of indispensable experience, a multitude of projects such as the construction of Baku-Supsa oil pipeline and Baku Shipyard are nowadays mentioned among the region’s largest construction projects. Most of the oil and gas platforms in the Caspian Sea, a number of strategical infrastructural facilities inside the country, and significant construction and installation projects implemented in oil and gas sector abroad are associated directly with Oil and Gas Construction Trust. Among the major strategic projects of recent years one can name construction of USD$266.5 mln. worth Baku Shipyard in 2013, the Deepwater Jacket #7 (2015) in Guneshli offshore field of the Caspian Sea, and the Fixed Offshore platform #6 (2016) at Bulla-Deniz field. There are also many successfully implemented projects on construction, expansion and reconstruction of numerous facilities at different hydrocarbon fields in the Caspian Sea. Apart from the contractor assignments, lots of construction and reconstruction operations have been carried out at many important state-owned sites.
Multi-faceted portfolio of Oil and Gas Construction Trust is not confined to Azerbaijan alone. Representative office of Oil and Gas Construction Trust in Georgia established in 2006 has implemented several projects related construction of oil and gas pipelines and other hydrotechnical facilities, as well as infrastructural projects in Georgia. In addition, Trust continues maintaining mutual cooperation ties with international companies such as Saipem, Azerbaijan-based branch office of Heavy Crane FZE, Caspian Pipe Coatings LLC, Azfen JV, ‘İlk İnşaat Taahhüt Sanayi ve Ticaret’ Ltd, Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, BOS Shelf LLC and other companies.

Modern-approach-based application of the latest techniques and technologies in the course of construction/installation works is a priority task for Oil and Gas Construction Trust. Such an approach ensures easy and efficient performance of works to the highest quality. Technological equipment produced in developed countries such as Germany, the USA, Italy, the Netherlands and Austria are applied. It should be emphasized that Oil and Gas Construction Trust was the first in Azerbaijan oil and gas industry to apply the semi-automatic and automatic welding method in pipeline construction. Implementation of the latest welding techniques ensures attaining maximum quality and higher melting coefficient of weld materials in oil and gas pipeline construction.
High skilled human resources are one of the main factors ensuring Trust’s successful implementation of the most complicated and challenging projects. Trust’s staff includes specialists with different international certificates and degrees (particularly weld engineers, welders, installers, etc.). At the same time,knowledge and skill tests and trainings are regularly conducted to enhance professional background.
Awards
Achievements of Oil and Gas Construction Trust are highly evaluated by many reputable organizations. In 2010, State Town Planning and Architecture Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic awarded Trust with an honorary diploma “For Professional and Efficient Performance”. In 2011, Trust received the national ‘Ughur’ award for “Success in the implementation of international oil and gas projects in Azerbaijan and abroad”. Caspian European Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group declared Trust “The Company of the Year in the field of oil and gas construction” (2012), “The Construction Company of the Year in the oil and gas sector”(2014), and “The Company of the Year in oil and gas field facility construction” (2015).
