Caspian Energy (CE): Ms. Palagashvili, organizing of events is a specific segment of the market, requiring particular skills, high-skilled personnel and an unordinary approach to business. How did you manage to build business and gain success in this area?
Lali Palagashvili, General Director, ORLI Service: In fact, the way to success was rather hard. We established the company in December 1998. At the beginning there were very few who believed in success of the company since this segment of the market was least developed and everything we had to build from a scratch. However, over 16 years of operating in the market of event arrangement services we managed to organize a lot of splendid and unforgettable events which were a starting point for us. Over these years our company gained a vast experience. The company has creative and high-skilled specialists working in its staff.
Conduction of different types of events is a serious and hard work for us. Among the main types of activity that the Company carries out noteworthy is the arrangement and decoration of any events, presentations, opening of state facilities and institutions, shopping centers and boutiques, weddings, birthdays, jubilees, children’s birthdays, corporate events, conferences, trainings, picnics, etc.
We have been justifiably holding the leading positions in this segment of the local market for the past years. Our company is capable to organize unordinary corporate parties, evening parties and presentations, high level state events, and certainly the most luxurious and unforgettable weddings.
Throughout the years of activity we have proved to be a serious, professional and mobile partner. Our company can do everything is needed to make the future celebration or event one of the most pleasant memories in the string of daily events.

CE: What have been the achievements of the company over the past years? Which events would you like to note in particular?
Lali Palagashvili: The recent years have been the most successful and interesting for our company. We won a tender for implementation of a number of interesting projects which were realized successfully. Apart from this, we managed to focus efforts and open subsidiaries, particularly in Ganja and Guba. We strive to get the job done on a high quality level, meet requirements of customers since it is some sort of a goal the company pursues. One of the goals of the company is also to have its brand promoted.
We are implementing very advanced and important state projects. New Year holidays were organized for orphans in Buta Palace both late in December of 2014 and 2013. Invited to the events were those who grew up in orphanages and boarding schools, children with disabilities, children representing martyr families, children of refugees and internally displaced people as well as the most excellent pupils. I find it the most successful event. We managed to fully adorn Buta Palace with huge decorations, which no company has done so far. We try to always deploy novelties in the market.
At the same time, other state events, tens of corporate parties and jubilees as well as other unforgettable events were organized throughout a year. Among them noteworthy is the presentation of the new brand Porsche – Macan, 10th anniversary of MacCoffee, events of SOCAR and others.
In recent years we went beyond Azerbaijan at various times and handled events in Georgia, Russia and Turkey. The fact that we repeatedly left the country to arrange events abroad proves the interest toward the activity of our company. We set new objectives and tasks every year. As soon as we fulfill the assigned tasks at certain stages we immediately set new ones at once.
In Sheki city we organized one of the most remarkable events, which notably contributed to the development of our company.
On an empty mountain area, where the ceremony of laying foundation of the Heydar Aliyev Center and a building of the executive power was to be held, we erected models of these buildings of a smaller scale in 3D format. Everyone was surprised. We covered one hectare of the mountain with a grass lawn, we reproduced each detail, including a flag streaming in the wind between the buildings. It was very difficult, interesting and exemplary work. Our company sparked interest of all agencies, including project designers.
One more event was organised in Khachmaz. It was a tent with a winter theme. We can completely transform an absolutely empty space into any desirable theme.
Opening of Olympic complexes was of great significance to us. These are also difficult projects. And, certainly, the ceremony of laying the foundation of the French Lyceum in autumn 2011, which was attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of France Nicolas Sarkozy, notably contributed to the reputation of our company. The design of a building, which we erected, allowed receiving visitors and at the same time holding press conferences.
With each new project we grow and do not stop learning. Each event brings results. I am grateful very much to those people who trust their events to us, believe in us.
And, of course, our main purpose is to encourage people to trust their event to us. ORLI Service is confided challenging events, which means that we have secured a reliable image. Today our company is, I can safely assert it, a leader in this segment.
CE: Today ORLI Service is a many-sided company that develops relevant areas. Which areas have you managed to cover?
Lali Palagashvili: The range of services that ORLI Service offers today is the widest. ORLI Service incorporates such divisions as ORLI Tekstil and ORLI Flowers.
ORLI Textile develops and manufactures personnel uniform of any complexity upon special choice of a customer.
The work of our company begins with studying of the brand, office, customer’s institution. Taken into consideration are all interior decisions, corporate colours and general areas of company’s business. The mini-factory of the company does not only manufacture dress for a company personnel, advertizing campaigns and uniforms for all kinds of activity, but also tailors beautiful curtains, cloths, curtains of other textile products that decorate an event of a customer company.
The other division, ORLI Flowers is engaged in the floristic activity, including decoration of restaurants, office rooms, selling areas, wedding corteges as well as creation of compositions, bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, gift baskets and many other things. Floristics is one of the important areas of our company since it is impossible to imagine a holiday without flowers. Flowers create a festive atmosphere and delight us with their aroma, exquisite shapes and colours.
