Advanced technologies

The management of SOCAR regularly introduces new technologies in the oil-gas industry. Therefore, executive and engineering-technical employees of Oil and Gas Construction Trust were on business trips in numerous European countries to attend different international conferences, fairs and training sessions. Since the end of 2012, Trust has introduced electric welding by automatic and semi-automatic machines for the first time in oil-gas industry of the country.

Utilization of new technologies has considerably raised the quality of welding operations, mechanical properties of welded joints, melting coefficient of welding materials and substantially  reduced physical load of the welder (operator).

Today, Trust is successfully applying electric welding by automatic and semi-automatic machines in all projects. The range of using such type of welding is growing as far as projects are implemented.

According to the program approved by SOCAR, Trust will fulfill contract work in amount 302,434.3 th. AZN in 2015. Out of this total amount, construction-installation works worth value 283,094.7 th AZN will be performed by its own resources.
