ORLI Service CEO Lali Palagashvili is informing the Caspian Energy readers about the activity and achievements of the company.

Caspian Energy (CE): ORLI Service has long been working in Azerbaijan. What is the reason of such a rapid success of the company?

Lali Palagashvili, CEO, ORLI Service:  Yes, you are certainly right, the company was founded in 1998 and in December last year we celebrated the 15th anniversary of the company. In the early years of our activity very few believed in the success of the company for the segment was little developed, and we had to build everything from scratch. But in 15 years of operation in the event-management market we managed to organize many colorful and memorable events that became the starting point for us. Over the years our company has gained huge experience, we employ the most creative and professional specialists in these sphere. Arranging various events for us is a serious, painstaking work.

Among the main activities of the company is the organization and execution of all kinds of events, presentations, openings of public facilities and institutions, shopping malls and boutiques, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, children’s birthdays, corporate events, conferences, workshops, picnics, etc.

Today we rightfully occupy a leading position in this segment of the local market. Our company can arrange extraordinary corporate events, parties and presentations, public high-level events and, of course, the most luxurious and unforgettable weddings.

We can carry out everything necessary for the future event or festivity to become one of the most pleasant memories in a series of daily events. Over the past 15 years of operation, we have established ourselves as a serious, professional and mobile partner. 

CE: How do you assess the year of 2013 for the company? What was it marked with, which goals were set and what has been attained?

Lali Palagashvili: 2013 was the most successful and interesting for our company. We won the tender for the implementation of a number of interesting projects that have been successfully implemented. In addition, we were able to concentrate efforts and to open subsidiaries in Ganja and Guba.

Our objective is to ensure quality work, meet all the requirements of the customer so that the customer was satisfied with our work. It’s a kind of a goal for the company. Another goal of the company is the strengthening of our brand.

We are implementing very complex projects, important public projects. New Year celebrations were organized for orphans in Buta Palace. I think this was among our most successful events. It was the first time that we completely covered the Buta Palace with bulky decorations. No local company has ever been able to do this. We have always introduced innovations in our market.

In addition, during the year we also organized other public holidays, dozens of corporate events and anniversaries as well as other memorable events.

Over the last year we left Azerbaijan three times to prepare decorations for the events abroad, we held two events in Tbilisi, one in Derbend and Turkey. The fact that we have repeatedly traveled for event-planning outside the country proves a keen interest in the activities of our company.

Every year we set new goals and objectives. At certain stages when achieving the task we immediately set a new target.

And of course, the main goal is to win people’s trust. ORLI Service is entrusted the organization of complex events, which means that we have proven ourselves. Today, I can say that our company is the leader in this segment.

CE: What goals does the company set in planning corporate events?

Lali Palagashvili: Our main objective in the organization of corporate events is to arrange the event so that it could be remembered for a long time and give a lot of emotions and positive feelings! Therefore, the organization of such events should be entrusted to professionals. Our experts combine flexibility, reliability, creativity and professionalism, so even the most «crazy» ideas will be accurate in performance.

Organization of corporate events is currently the most important vector in development of modern companies. Such events are aimed at uniting the team, identifying leaders and giving energy and mood to the entire team. We conducted our corporate events for many large companies in Azerbaijan, many of which are now our loyal customers.

When organizing such events, we use individual scenarios, the latest technology and equipment. We organize the festivities at the highest level and ensure that corporate holiday is bright and unforgettable.

CE: Which directions and spectrum of services does the activity of Orli Service cover?

Lali Palagashvili: The range of services Orli Service provides today is very wide. The structure of Orli Service includes such divisions as ORLI Tekstil and ORLI Flowers.

ORLI Textile designs and manufactures specially chosen staff uniform of any complexity. The company’s work begins with the familiarization with the brand, office, customer’s premises, taking into account all interior design, corporate colors and the overall direction of the company’s business. Mini-mills are engaged not only in tailoring for the company’s personnel, promotions, uniforms for all kinds of activities, but also tailoring beautiful curtains, tablecloths and curtains of other textile products gracing the customer’s event.

There is also ORLI Flowers engaged in the floristic activities including both decoration of restaurants, offices, trade halls, wedding guests, and ensuring compositions of bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, gift baskets and more. Floristics is one of the important areas of our company, as no event-planning is possible without flowers.

Flowers create a festive atmosphere, delighting us with its aroma, refined form and color.

ORLI Service is directly engaged in design and any arrangements. ORLI Service includes a full range of services ranging from the installation of lighting equipment and sound equipment to catwalks and scenes of various sizes and formats of events. 

CE: What event throughout the activity of the company do you consider a visiting card of your company?

Lali Palagashvili: We organized one of the most memorable events in Shaki. This event served  a serious impetus  for the development of our company. On an empty mountain location where the groundbreaking ceremony of the Heydar Aliyev Center and the building of executive power was to be held, we erected the smaller scale of these buildings in 3D. Nobody expected this, we covered one hectare of the mountain with green grass, we have reproduced every detail, even the flag between the buildings. It was a very complex, interesting and indicative work.  All the structures including those which designed the project showed interest in our company.

Another activity was organized in Khachmaz, it was a winter-themed tent. We can totally transform an empty room into any given topic.

The opening of Olympic complexes was of great importance for us. These were also complex projects. And, of course, the foundation of the French Lyceum in autumn 2011, attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of France Nicolas Sarkozy, was of great importance for us. The design of the structures allowed both receiving guests and holding press conferences.

With each new project, we do not cease to grow and learn. Each event brings results. I am very grateful to the people who trust us, believe in us.

We understand that it’s a big responsibility. We understand that it is difficult, but at the same time feasible. The main thing is to love your work, and then any project will be executed at the highest level.

CE: When we enter your office, we see very many interesting and beautiful flowers. Probably, these flowers are an integral part of your work? 

Lali Palagashvili: Flowers are a component of any event, it is an important part whether it is corporate event, birthday or wedding. Flowers are considered an integral element of any event. So I do pay special place to floristics. We have professional certified florists. Each year we improve their skills by participating in training for florists in foreign countries.

Flowers are imported from Turkey, Holland and other countries. There is a very large selection of unique flowers. And if they are composed competently, you get a beautiful composition and this is a plus for a holiday in any format.

CE: How do you assess the market potential?

Lali Palagashvili: Today Azerbaijan has created conditions for the development of any industry. Azerbaijan is growing and developing, large corporations are attracted into the country and launch their businesses. In general, the development of the Azerbaijani market in all areas is very optimistic. Development of any business, in my opinion, depends on the political and economic policies in the country. Due to the stability of our economy and competent business construction, all projects are successfully implemented. Support for private sector development is a priority policy of President Ilham Aliyev. This is confirmed by enormous investments in the Azerbaijani economy, both domestic and foreign.

We approach our obligations with full responsibility, using the most innovative technologies and maintaining a specified time and never let our customers down.
