Caspian Energy (CE): Mr. Mammadov, in which sphere is the company specializing and to what extent did it manage to strengthen its positions in the market of plastic pipes? 

Rashad Mammadov, Head of the Sales and Marketing Department of NJT 2000: NJT Company is engaged in production of plastic products, mainly plastic pipes and fittings. Just like in the previous year, our company will keep promoting products in the field of plastic pipes. 

Every second sewage pipe, produced in the world from polymer materials, is a corrugated pipe. This innovation we introduce in production is one-of-a-kind in the region. NJT’s production line was commissioned on basis of technology of Drossbach Company (Germany). Technology of corrugation of materials is one of the efficient ways applied for increasing stiffness of a structure and is being broadly used in the global plastic industry. Accordingly, flexible corrugated pipes enable to ensure reliable protection. It is a new technology in pipe business applied also for laying highway drain-pipes. In this regard, corrugated pipes will keep holding their application niche in countries where corrugated pipes are little known to consumers. 

CE: What opportunities does Baku Build open for the company and how is the company preparing for participation in the exhibition?

Rashad Mammadov: This exhibition is an event involving many local and foreign companies. It provides new opportunities, perspectives, new business partnerships, it is a perfect chance to demonstrate a company to potential business partners and gain more popularity both in the domestic and international market. Some day the effectiveness of this exhibition has certainly played a certain role in promotion of our company. Therefore, we have been regularly participating in this exhibition for the past years. We took part in Baku Build for 5 times. 

In general, the main task of exhibition process and the specialized exhibition is to create a positive image along with the growth of popularity of the exhibition itself. These two notions are certainly interrelated. The more attractive are expositions of a company the more interesting the exhibition becomes for visitors. The process of arrangement of a specialized exhibition unites organizers and exhibitors with government agencies and public associations and broadly encourages development of the industrial policy. Thus, it promotes intensive development of a separate enterprise and the entire economy in general. Investigation of the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) shows that exponents of exhibition influence on sale 6 times higher than any other means. Visual efficiency of exhibition may last up to 14 weeks. Apart from this, investments made into the exhibition stand are returned much quicker and in higher volumes. To our regret, an exhibition culture is too young in our country. There are not institutions in our country to give sufficient knowledge in this area. There is also lack of necessary literature for independent studying. In this regard, all exhibitors face many difficulties when organizing or preparing for an exhibition. All knowledge of running an exhibition business as well as efficient using of exhibition as a unique mechanism of promotion is obtained through realization of own ideas and hard work.
