The growth totaled over 20% compared to the last year figure. This event will bring together more than 450 companies from 29 countries. European leaders representing the construction industry account for almost half of foreign participants. This fact confirms the statistics that about 50% of foreign investments flowing into Azerbaijan fall to the share of the European countries. 7 national groups are to take part in the exhibition this year. Among regular participants of the exhibition noteworthy are national groups from Germany, Greece, Italy, Iran, Portugal and Finland. 58 companies representing three regions are expected to participate from Italy: Brescia and Milan cities and  Novara province. Apart from this, participating in the exhibition are companies which have been lately registered in Azerbaijan and it is BakuBuild-2013 exhibition where they will be able to make themselves known as the market participant.

Companies set bilateral relations during this exhibition, have an opportunity to meet with their potential clients, with clients of their competitors, and professionals share experience. All of this will give an impetus to development of construction business in Azerbaijan. As the exhibition is considered an international event, Azerbaijani companies obtain a chance to expand their activity and enter foreign market. In this regard, BakuBuild exhibition is a peculiar reflection of construction business development in Azerbaijan.

Exposition of the exhibition will be placed in all 4 pavilions of the exhibitory complex and in the lobby. Noteworthy is also the construction equipment section to be placed on the open ground in front of the exhibition complex.

The state and private sectors are making considerable investments into the residential and production construction, repair and reconstruction of buildings and development of infrastructure. Apart from this, Azerbaijan is attracting foreign investors whereupon foreign participants account for more than half of exhibitors in BakuBuild. Besides, most of them arrive under the flag of trade-industrial chambers of their countries. It means that these countries attach strategic importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan.
