Nobel Oil Group of Companies is a rapidly growing upstream oil and gas integrated operating services group, active in Azerbaijan since 2005.
In the E&P segment, a Nobel Oil Group affiliate has been participating in exploration and hydrocarbons pilot production in the Umid offshore gas-condensate field since 2008. Following successful completion and perforation of Umid-10 well in June 2012 at the depth interval of 6336-6356 meter, pilot production started on September 18, 2012 and by mid-2013, 171 mln. m³ of gas and 25 thousand tons of condensate have been produced and delivered via subsea pipelines and onshore terminal to distribution network. Current average production rate from Umid-10 well is around 500 thousand m³ of gas and 100 tons of condensate per day. The Umid field is likely to contribute significant gas and condensate production to Azerbaijan petroleum balance during the coming years and open new horizons for a bright energy future of the country.
The Group also provides a wide range of Services to the oil and gas and other industries. It is proficient in EOR, project management, procurement and logistics, installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance activities.
Our premier drilling affiliate has delivered about 30 deep productive oil and gas wells over the past 5 years.
The ceremony for commissioning the new Gas Turbine Cogeneration Power Plant (GTCPP) built at Oily Rocks was held in July 2013. The new GTCPP consists of 6 gas turbine power generators, 3 heat recovery units, plant’s internal utilization systems, 2-floor 405 m² area facility building, middle voltage switchgears and other auxiliary systems installed at 7000 m² area platform rack. Power production capacity of the plant is 45 MW and heat generation capacity is 13 Gcal/h (15.1 MW). The key project milestones are now delivered and the power plant is under a one – year maintance warranty.
The PMC Group has completed the Oily Rocks Compression Station in 2009 and a Compressor Station for Guneshli Deepwater Platform No 4 in 2012. Both projects were delivered under “turnkey” conditions and maintenance services are currently provided to both. The Gas Lift Guneshli Deepwater Platform No 4 Compressor Station Project is currently being implemented.
