COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev has met with King Frederik X of Denmark, “Caspian Energy Media” reports.
"COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev took part in a critical meeting with HM King Frederik X of Denmark, COP30 President-Designate André Corrêa do Lago, Lars Aagaard, Danish Minister of Climate, Energy and Utilities, and Simon Stiell, UNFCCC Executive Secretary. In the meeting, they discussed how to sharpen the world’s focus on the steps needed to preserve the multilateral system, on implementing the promises made at COP29, and on making COP30 Amazonia a success," reads the COP29 Azerbaijan page on X.
