OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais will travel to Astana to participate in the Kazenergy Association Forum.
According to an Instagram post, the event is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 4, 2025.
As a reminder, eight OPEC+ countries — including Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Algeria, and Oman — decided to increase oil production by 411,000 barrels per day starting in July 2025. The countries confirmed a flexible approach, noting that the production increase may be paused or reversed if necessary.
