On July 16, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is expected to visit the Karabakh region and meet with President Ilham Aliyev.

On July 10, the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations signed an agreement on the arrangements for hosting the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3). From August 4 to 8 of this year, the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries and related events will be held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. Earlier, the President of Turkmenistan signed the relevant decree to hold the forum in cooperation with the United Nations. It is expected that the Conference, organized by Turkmenistan in cooperation with the United Nations, will be attended by the heads of 32 countries, as well as interested UN member states, the UN Secretary-General, and his deputies.
