A Chinese company has developed the world’s first large AI model for the energy system, reports China Daily, a partner of TV BRICS. It helps make decisions at all stages — from electricity generation to sales.

The model takes into account safety, environmental protection, production planning, electricity trading, and maintenance. It improves forecasts by considering weather, water resource risks, and real-time market conditions. The company noted that the system increased the accuracy of weather analysis, such as wind speed, and the accuracy of electricity generation forecasts by 2.8%.
